3.Magic Tree House Block Out And Step of Hero Tree/Rock

This is probably the main object in my scene, the final scene should have more grass and stones, maybe the sky scene is a little more realistic, the lighting rendering is not very satisfactory, maybe I need to practice lighting more in Maya. This is the basic scenario set up so far.

By doing this Block Out, I have a clearer understanding of the connection between objects in the scenes and the proportion between them, as well as a clearer rendering of the final scene that should be matched and constructed.It was a step to move forward and clear my mind.

I wanted to make a twined trunk, but it didn’t work very well, and if I made a separate branch, it wouldn’t bond very well. So I made a whole tree trunk, which is better than the original. Maybe I could sculpt the roots with this twist effect. The base grass looks ok so far.

I created the basic shape of the tree in Maya and then increased the number of faces in Zbrush. After the sculpture and surface texture and convex shape. Because the main body of the house will be on this tree, there should be plenty of space between the crowns. The stones are sculpted directly in Zbrush. I tried a lot of brushes in Zbrush, and gradually became more familiar with Zbrush. There are still many functions that need to be explored. But Zbrush makes my trees and stones look much more realistic and detailed.
